On my facebook page was an advertisement from The National Benefit Authority informing all readers that they may be entitled to money if they fit the stipulated criteria. Upon reading the disabilities that they were covering, I noticed I fell into one of their criteria’s. Immediately a phone call was placed to the 1-800 number provided. Questions were asked and sure enough, I qualified. We could have started the process immediately, but I was skeptical about giving any personal information over the phone and really wanted to make sure they were legit. I requested the old fashioned mail process of documents. Once received, the documents were very straight forward and my required information was highlighted. Very easy, simple process. From mailing date to cheque in hand was less than three weeks. Their search went as far back as 13 years. Truly grateful for their dedication, patience and research into my past as I received an extremely nice cheque. Without their efforts and notices to the public, I would have never known they existed or that they could financially help me. As we all know….Every little bit helps!!!!
