The NBA helped my wife and I receive a disability credit that really helped us. Years ago, our tax agent told me that the government had changed the way they decided if you qualified for this credit and made it harder to receive. Having had to battle 5 years with an insurance Company to accept that I had a Disability, I just decided that it would be too hard to get this benefit. The NBA, with all their expertise, succeeded. I’ve had family say, “why didn’t you do this on your own” and save the money the NBA receives for this service, but I told them that I don’t believe we would have succeeded without their help.
