After working as an RPN in a nursing home for almost 32 years, I was gearing down to retirement. In the fall of 2011 I suffered a brain aneurysm. I survived and spent the next two years recovering. In March of last year I fell On my way! a patch of ice and sustained a compression fracture of my mid spine. It also triggered my rheumatoid arthritis. I never thought about disability as I was the one looking after people my entire life. When I saw the ad on Facebook I thought I should now look after myself! It was very easy and Mahasta was so helpful and professional to work with. The money I received will go towards a deep soaker tub for me to help ease the pains of my arthritis on a daily basis.
