My husband said that he didn’t want to get the NBA to handle our disability money because we could handle it ourselves. Two years went by and we didn’t know how to go after any of the money that was supposed to be there. We went to HR Block at tax time and they hadn’t heard of this disability return on the taxes and had no idea of what was needed to get it. We had the tax person phone NBA to get info for us for the next year, based on NBA doing our previous years for us. The deposit was made to our account (to our surprise) because I still didn’t believe we were going to get anything. To me this deposit was ‘found’ money, so I gladly gave them the commission they asked for.
