First of all I would like to thank the National Benefit Authority from the bottom of my heart for helping me to apply for and receive the Disibility Tax Credit! I would not have known about this credit if it were not for the NBA. Even though there was a note at the bottom of my tax assessment saying that I might qualify, I didn’t really notice it because I’ve been so sick. Then I heard about the NBA! They helped me to get through something that I never could have done on my own. My NBA resource person gave me so much support and showed such kindness towards me on my bad days when I was feeling discouraged and sick. She encouraged me as I filled out the form and was always there to answer questions, checking in with me regularly. When I was disappointed at how poorly my Doctor had filled out the form she reassured me that it would still work out, and it did! It all seemed to take such a short amount of time as well. I really appreciated the regular phone calls of support. I received money retroactively and also qualify for more than several years into the future. I believe in the National Benefit Authority and think that they are an essential service for people with disibilities who are sometimes too sick to help themselves. I would definitely use the NBA’s services again, I think they are great! Thank you NBA!
