The NBA was very helpful. I suffer from migraine disease and as I get older it is getting worse and harder to treat. I am currently on day 392 of the most recent intractable migraine (yes, you read that number correctly). They helped me apply, and when I was denied, they helped me to apply again so that I would at least get assistance due to the cumulative effects of this disease and other disabilities I suffer from. I am now eligible for a tax credit due to my total disability during these episodes, and, as a result I also got 3,000 dollars back from the CRA, which was a relief, as the bills have been piling up while I have been off work.
