Things hit hard in 2005. I lost my job, friends, and what was normal functionality for me. It took years to get a comprehensive diagnosis and appropriate treatment. Even now things are much less than normal. Finances were tight to say the least. Then I got an email from my sister about NBA. I contacted them and they helped me through the process step by step, something that was too overwhelming for me to do myself. I recently got a payout from the Canada Revenue Agency going back to 2005… money I wouldn’t have gotten without their help. Finances are still a challenge, but not nearly quite so tight.
